Fall 2008 Customer Letter

Dear Customers,

We are almost done with another incredibly successful year. For this year we just need to finish up with commitments of who wants to do the George Morris clinic Dec. 12th, 13th, and 14th and RSVPs for the Christmas party Dec. 20th. This year the George Morris clinic will be $600 for the three days or $250 if by the day. Each rider may bring one spectator for free; all others must pay the $75 per day auditing fee as we have to pay George $50 per day per person. This includes everyone. Please let me know as soon as possible if you want to ride as the clinic fills rapidly and I already have a waiting list of outside riders. All clinic fees for riders are due by Dec. 1st. If you need to cancel and we can fill your spot, fees will be refunded. Each group this year will have a maximum of eight riders. I am planning two jumper groups and one equitation group. The first jumper group will be the highs. The second will be 4’ jumpers, and the equitation group will be advanced horsemanship.

It is also getting close to time to think about Thermal scary as that is. Please get together with me to go over your plans. Also what if any seats you’d like and what type of stalls.

With the large number of horses going to the shows the cash outlay is huge so please make sure you get your deposits in for every show on time and that your bills are paid in a timely matter with KHS and with all of the shoers, vets etc. We are unable to carry accounts above $10,000 and/or are 60 days past due. This will require no showing till the account is paid in full. Many people have ignored doing their deposits and it makes life difficult for everyone. Please when you plan which shows you are going to, do your deposits at the same time. They can be sent to Carlye, given to Melissa, or put in the envelope at the barn or at the shows.

Also at the shows the hauling envelope and braiding envelopes are on the wall in the customer room along with the envelope for show office checks and deposit checks. Please make sure these are in by Sat. Afternoon. If we have to pay them for you there will be a $50 charge for unpaid braiding that we have to pay and $100 for unpaid show office bills. This will be enforced as we have had to pay many times.
