Spring 2008 Customer Letter

Dear Customers,

First off congratulations to everyone on a great spring! Let’s see if we can keep this up.

1. The website is up and running. There is a copy of this and all the past letters posted there. Please check it out.

2. Please fill out your summer show schedule and fax that to me as soon as possible. I need to have in writing which shows you are going to before the close of entries!

3. Our plan this year is to not do Menlo as it is very hard on the horses to ship up, show on the hard footing and come back the next week to do CPHA Finals. Instead we will do the two weeks at Oaks Blenheim.

4. Please if you have any questions on your bill, do not hesitate to ask me. I am more than happy to go over them with you and pass along any questions or concerns if I am not able to answer them myself.

5. Once again, there is a list posted at the barn of which groom is in charge of which horse. Let me know if there are any problems.

6. Indoors will come upon us very quickly so any of you planning on going don’t forget to make your reservations early.

7. A reminder if you are planning on going to a show and cancel after your entry is in, you will be responsible for paying for the stall fee and office scratch fee unless we are able to sell your stall. Please plan on giving us a check ahead of time to cover these amounts.

With the large number of horses going to the shows the cash outlay is huge so please make sure you get your deposits in for every show on time and that your bills are paid in a timely matter with KHS and with all of the shoers, vets etc.

We are unable to carry accounts that remain above $10,000 and/or are 60 days past due. This will require no showing till the account is paid in full. Many people have ignored doing their deposits and it makes life difficult for everyone. Please when you plan which shows you are going to, do your deposits at the same time. They can be sent to Carlye, given to Melissa, or put in the envelope at the barn. There will also be an envelope for other checks such as entries, seats, etc.
