May 2010 Customer Letter

Dear Customers,

1. At the horse shows riders need to repack their trunks at the end of each show. At that time, check to see if your tack is in need of any repairs and that it is clean and any borrowed bits etc. have been returned. This is each rider’s responsibility!

2. Please also get with me or fax me the list of the shows you want to go to. I need to have each person’s written list of shows. If I do not have a list in writing, email and fax also acceptable but not by text, I will not be able to do an entry or stall for you. Thanks so much to the ones of you who have been on top of this, it helps a lot.

3. Please, any questions on billing need to be done within 30 days of receiving your bill. It is way too confusing to try and go back several months and sort things out. I’m afraid old age is setting in and my mind is just not that good anymore to remember Thermal in Oct.

4. Each set of grooms at home are responsible for the overall care of certain horses. There is a list posted in the cross ties with this information. If there are any problems or issues with your horse please let me know.

5. Please give us copies of your new cards as soon as you receive them and make sure you have joined everything necessary. If you give us checks we will be happy to do these for you. We also need to have the combinations for everyone’s locks. It is impossible for us to do our jobs if we can’t get to your horse’s tack at home and the shows.

6. Please make sure every show your braiding and office checks are in on Sat. Also please remember that the grooming is to be paid in cash not by check unless your groom specifically okays that as it is hard sometimes for them to get the check cashed while they are on the road.

7. I know it is early but I need to start to get a count for the George Morris Clinic December 10th, 11th, and 12th. The plan is to do two jumper groups and one equitation group as we’ve done in prior years. On Friday the first jumper group may be a high level group with grand prix and young riders. Please let me know your plan so I can reserve spots for in barn riders before I offer the other spaces.
